Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) kick starts another exciting season of racing thrills and world-class entertainment with the hosting of an Open Track Night exclusive for motorbike enthusiasts on Friday (September 12) in Sakhir.
Bikers of all skill levels are being invited to “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East” for an exciting three-hour activity that will bring them as close to the real racing experience as possible.
Open Track Night will be held along BIC’s 2.55-kilometre Inner Track.
Each participant will be able to enjoy the awesome spectacle of driving under BIC’s brilliant floodlighting system which lights up the entire circuit perfectly, offering a unique and memorable setting.
Friday’s event will be held non-stop from 7pm to 10pm with an Open Pit-Lane. Registration can be done from 6pm at Team Building 18 in the BIC Paddock.
The cost to take part is BD80 per person. Spectators wishing to watch the action will be able to attend for free.
BIC’s Open Track Night follows the popularity of BIC’s Open Track Days, which are held regularly at the desert racing facility throughout the year, attracting participants from all over the Gulf.
This Friday’s event will be run to the highest of international safety standards, although riders will still be able to push their bikes to their very limit.
All participating bikes must first go through scrutineering. Drivers taking part must also own a valid licence and must be wearing the appropriate clothing along with closed-toe footwear.
