BAHRAIN will host its first fishermen’s market on Saturday 10th May, at the Budaiya Agriculture Centre. The Fishermen's market will be held every Saturday until the end of May and will feature restaurants and a mini farmer's market.

The market organized by the Municipalities and Urban Planning Affairs Ministry aims to support Bahraini fishermen. The purpose of the market is to preserve Bahraini fishermen's craft by treating it as a heritage profession" - said market Executive Director Amani Abu Idris.

So if you wish to purchase fresh fish, rather then frozen ones, visit every Saturday until the end of May between 6am-9am & 12pm-4pm at Budaiya.
